Ahh, one of my great escapes from the real world as I imaging how safer the world would be with Jack Bauer in it (although a number of bad people would have fewer fingers and stuff like that”. What has always amazed me about this show is that across the seasons Jack rescued the Secretary of Defense who had been kidnapped, he saved the lives of three Presidents singlehandedly, exposed multiple traitors within the US Government, saved the world from terrorist attacks using a nuke, chemican weapon, and biological weapon, served years doing hard time in a Chinese prison taking the heat and not talking, yet at the beginning of each season they start off with him being a bad guy or traitor, nobody believes him, he has no credibility, and even people whose lives he saved turn his back on him (William Devane). Although it’s still a riveting season each time, this part of it gets a bit old. Let’s see how they handle it on May 5. Oh and also stay tuned for the inevitable lapses of logic and common sense which I so love to point out. This is my first blog, entertaining but not life changing for any of us, but encouraged by numerous friends. Good reading and I look forward to comments and debate.
